Terms of service

The conditions for using Boughtcast.

Last updated Oct 19, 2026

Who we are

Boughtcast is a service of Alpa Digital, Calle Mayo 1, Seville (Spain). Contact: hello@boughtcast.com.

The service

Boughtcast lets someone who sells a product (the “maker”) offer buyers a partial refund for posting about it on X or Reddit. Boughtcast verifies the purchase and the post; the maker approves and the refund goes out through their own payment provider. Boughtcast never holds or moves buyers' money.

Plans and payment

Free: 1 product and 5 entries. Pro: $12.00 per month, cancel anytime. Lifetime: one payment of $99.00 for the first 50 spots; after that, $149.00.

Payments are handled by Polar as merchant of record. Prices exclude any applicable taxes.

Your obligations as a maker

Run lawful campaigns and follow the advertising and consumer rules that apply to you, including making incentivised posts say so clearly (for example with #ad).

Never make the refund depend on a positive opinion, or use Boughtcast to manufacture fake reviews.

Follow the rules of X and Reddit, and pay the refunds you approve.

Keep your credentials and payment provider tokens secure.

Buyers

Taking part is voluntary and free. The refund depends on each campaign's rules and on the maker's approval, and the maker is the one who issues it.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and refunds exact (each one carries a unique key so it's never paid twice), but we don't guarantee uninterrupted operation. We're not liable for the maker's decisions, failures of payment providers or social networks, or indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to what you paid Boughtcast in the last 12 months, except where the law doesn't allow such a limit.

Leaving

You can cancel your plan and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, with notice where possible.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. The courts of Seville have jurisdiction, unless you're a consumer, in which case the courts of your place of residence do.
